Dear CPA Providers:
As a reminder, OPM's Resource Development team asked that all annual foster parent training hours be entered by October 31, 2023. Please report all foster parent training hours to GA+SCORE as soon as possible. Hours completed through November 30 should already be in GA+SCORE; hours completed in the final month of the year should be reported promptly. This ensures that the RDs have time to update SHINES before the training deadline 12/31. Homes that do not have the required training hours in GA+SCORE by 12/31 will receive an automatic Corrective Action Plan and hold on January 1, 2024.
If training is not completed, please download the CAP requirements and review this example of a CAP for guidance when completing and submitting the required plan in 2024.
Please note that quarterly staff training requirements in GA+SCORE are not the same as foster parent annual training policy.
