Greetings CPA Providers,

The Georgia Division of Family and Children Services is offering a limited number of grants (up to $25,000) to support recruitment and/or development efforts for CPAs willing to open foster homes to support teens and children with complex needs. The funds will be provided to the selected providers upfront and will need to be utilized within 90 days.  This opportunity is created by funds we don’t expect to be available again in the future. If you are interested, please submit a brief, one-page proposal to opm.leadership@dhs.ga.gov by close of business on Friday, August 4, 2023. Your proposal should include the following:  the grant amount you are requesting, how the funds will support the recruitment and development of homes for the targeted population, and your plan for training, supporting, and/or providing respite for caregivers. If your proposal is selected, you will be notified by e-mail.
