Greetings Providers,

The Office of Provider Management is sending a reminder regarding requirements and expectations around placement referrals. Please take a few minutes to review the following:

• Please ensure that your admissions contact and after hours contact information is correct in GA SCORE. 
• RBWO Standard 4.3 requires providers to give DFCS notice of your decision to accept or reject referrals as soon as possible, but no longer that 2 calendar days.
• RBWO Standard 4.4 requires providers to provide a response regarding referrals for Fulton or Dekalb children, within 8 hours of the referral.
• RBWO Standard 4.14 and 4.15 requires providers to document all referrals in GA SCORE.

Please ensure that your agency is working in partnership with DFCS and providing timely responses.  We value each of you as a partner and we appreciate the work that you all do for Georgia’s children.
