Dear Providers:
The Georgia Division of Family and Children Services’ Youth Advisory Board, Georgia Peers Advocating for Change (GPAC), is recruiting new members! The GPAC board is comprised of youth and young adults ages 16-26 with lived foster care experience. The GPAC board will be hosting information sessions throughout the summer to share information about the board’s mission and vision. Please share the attached flyer with youth you believe will be a champion for change and will be willing to lift their voices to improve the child welfare system for them and their peers.
Registration is required to attend. Youth/Young adults are encouraged to select the information date that best fits their schedule. If there are any questions regarding registration please contact the board president Adrianna Eskew at adriannaeskew@gmail.com.
Thank you.
