The following points are new SAFE updates that OPM wants to ensure all CPAs are implementing. These changes should be reflected in future assessments.
- The process of recording Desk Guide Ratings on the Update Psychosocial Inventory is simplified
- The Psychosocial Evaluation Instructions now provide more clarification
- An Update Flow Chart, Update Supervisor Flow Chart, and a Nelson Update Home Study sample are now available
- Instructions on how to complete the SAFE Update Process are available as both a PDF and PowerPoint
Make sure to check out and download the Instructions for Updating a SAFE Home Study as they provide you with step-by-step instructions on how to conduct the SAFE Update process from beginning to end.
The instructions are available as both a PDF and PowerPoint. All update tools, including the instructions, flow charts, and Nelson Update Home Study sample are found in the "SAFE Tools" section of the Resource Center.
