The Department of Human Services State Adoption Unit has posted an electronic request for proposal (eRFP) seeking qualified submissions for our Statewide Adoption Match Meeting (SAMM). Downloadable notification/contact information available here.
SAMM creates an opportunity to identify permanent homes for approximately 250 children in the State of Georgia who are without an identified adoption resource. SAMM is also designed to give potential adoptive parents an opportunity to review photos, biographical information including interest and hobbies and other attributes of children who are available for adoption.
Additionally, the meeting provides training and networking opportunities for DFCS staff and private agency partners. This meeting has typically been a 2-day event, with day 1 and 3 being ½ days and day 2 being a full day to include the Family Night event.
