Chafee Program Overview
The Georgia Division of Family and Children Services' GARYSE Chafee Independent Living Program will begin hosting virtual training and information sessions for child welfare professionals, caregivers, service providers, and other stakeholders.
SESSIONS WILL BE HELD BI-WEEKLY ON THURSDAYS
10:00 AM - 11:30 AM | APRIL 13 - JUNE 8, 2023
Participants will learn:
- WHAT IT MEANS TO BE "ILP ELIGIBLE"
- IMPORTANT YOUTH LIFE SKILLS
- CASE PLANNING REQUIREMENTS
- SUPPORTS AVAILABLE TO YOUTH
- ROLE OF THE GA RYSE INDEPENDENT LIVING SPECIALIST
- UNDERSTANDING YOUTH SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT
