E-Blast: Provider Training Opportunity: Teens R For Me Conference 2022

Dear Providers:

We are excited to announce the return of the Georgia Department of Human Services (DHS), Division of Family and Children Services’ (DFCS) annual teen enrichment conference known as Teens R For Me!. We have hosted this conference for several years and due to the pandemic, we put the conference on hold the last two years. This year, Teens R For Me is back and the registration for the adult conference days is now open.

The adult conference days are specific days reserved for social service and child welfare professionals who support, engage, and serve older youth (teens) in foster care within Georgia. If you are a DFCC Case Manager, Supervisor, County Director, Regional Director, Leadership, Provider, Caregiver, Stakeholder, Community-based Organization, these two days are for you.

This year’s adult conference days will be held in Atlanta, Georgia from Tuesday, December 6th to Wednesday, December 7thfrom 9:00 AM – 4:00PM each day. Download the flyer to register and learn more about the four tracks offered this year:
