Improving Practice and Support in Child Welfare: Placement and Family Engagement
On Thursday, November 10, 2022 from 9:00 AM – 12:00 NOON the Georgia Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS) will be hosting its Fall 2022 Annual Progress and Services Report (APSR) Joint Planning meeting.
During this meeting, we will discuss how Georgia’s social services and child welfare systems are supporting children, youth, and young adults in foster care as they find forever families and supportive placements. This joint planning meeting will allow youth/young adults with lived experiences, social service and child welfare professionals, system stakeholders and other key partners to listen and jointly engage in conversation and strategy in this area of need and discuss emergent and long-standing efforts.
