Joint Planning for Enhanced Collaboration and Support of Placement Stability for Youth and Young Adults with Complex Needs

On Friday, June 17, 2022 at 9:00 AM, the Georgia Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS) will be hosting its Summer 2022 Annual Progress and Services Review (APSR) Joint Planning meeting. Attendees to the joint planning meeting will represent young leaders, stakeholders, and organizations that support and advocate for youth and young adults within Georgia's foster care system.

During this meeting, we will be engaging in collaborative discussions on how to improve the services, supports and outcomes provided to children and youth in care who have complex and specialized needs. We will also learn from youth and young adults who have lived experience within Georgia's foster care system and the impact navigating the system has had on their lives. We invite you to join us for this event that will allow participants to listen to the voice of youth and young adults and to jointly engage in conversation and strategy in this area of support.

If you would like to participate in this joint planning meeting, please complete registration using the link provided below. This meeting will be virtual. Participation information will be sent at least 48 hours before the date of the meeting.
