This year, after a two year hiatus due to COVID and with support from GA RYSE, UGA will be hosting the 2022 Embark Summer Precollegiate program in Athens from June 12 through June 16.  The Embark Summer Program is designed for young people in foster care who are rising 10-11th graders to spend time on campus and learn about college life.  Only 25 slots are available - please forward through your networks to fill them up!  A flyer and the application is attached to this email and can also be found on the Fanning Institute website here.

Application Instructions:

• Please complete the entire application, including the brief reference section.
• Applications must be received by COB on May 27.
• All applications will be submitted to the JW Fanning Institute for Leadership Development, notifications will be made on a rolling basis.
• All applications and any supporting materials should be mailed in one envelope (hard copy) or one single .pdf file (electronically).
