Amerigroup is offering a two-part S.T.R.I.V.E.S (Success Through Real Interactive Vision Empowerment Sessions) Forum for male adolescents and young men. Please share the registration links with youth who might benefit from participating in the forum.
- Part One (12/14) covers phyiscal & mental health.
- Part Two (12/15) covers financial well-being.
Today’s adolescents and young men are facing dilemmas in this ever-changing world. Many of them are having to grow up faster and make decisions they are not necessarily prepared for. These decisions include but are not limited to perceptions on masculinity, physical health, mental health, and how to support themselves when transitioning to adulthood. To make things even more challenging adolescents and young men who are involved with foster care, DJJ, or have been adopted have additional factors to account for such as stability and embracing a new support system. Amerigroup understand this plight and we are invested in seeing our male members strive within their complex environment. We want to assist them in changing the prevailing perceptions that have plagued this gender for centuries and increase their awareness on topics related to whole person health. Training certificates will be provided after the survey is completed.
