December 13, 2021 12:36 PM

Dear CPA Providers:

The Georgia Division of Children and Family Services is relaunching a training initiative for the purpose of educating caregivers on the early identification of developmental delays and disabilities in children 0-5 years.

DFCS is offering three Train-the-Trainer virtual training events for interested DFCS team members, child placement agencies and leaders in the foster care community. Event dates are January 27, March 24, or May 5th.
  • Participants in Train-the-Trainer will learn how to present the established curriculum and use related tools and materials such as videos and relevant online resources.
  • Participants will also receive a digital training kit with all materials to replicate the training to families. The goal of this project is to have a training curriculum that will improve overall service provision for children in this age group.
Training participants are required to attend one full day of training and will receive a certificate at the conclusion of the event. Trainers only need to register for one event.

Download the flyer for registration and contact information.

Thank you.
