Supporting Our Older Youth in Care as They Transition through the Uncertain Times

Over the last year and a half, our young people in care have experienced many transitions due to the impact of the events that have occurred around them. Within our national, state and local on-going efforts to ensure youth in care have the appropriate resources and connections they need to be empowered, stable, and prepared to transition into young adulthood, there have been executive orders, funding and new programs established to provide the support they may need. On Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at 5:00 PM, the Georgia Division of Family and Children Services will be providing information on several important resources and programs to provide support to our youth in care.
