As shared on 6/28, a GARYSE Chafee partner is offering a temporary employment opportunity for young adults, ages 18-22 years old, with lived experience within Georgia’s foster care system after their 14th birthday. The employer is a community partner that is supporting a federal initiative to provide resources to youth and young adults who have been impacted by COVID-19.
There was an error on the application site that prevented youth from submitting their applications. If you have youth who expressed interest in applying, please re-engage them to submit their complications. Our partners would like to begin interviewing promising candidates and preparing for onboarding within the next couple of weeks.
Please share the flyer with young adults who meet the listed qualifications. Candidates who are interested in applying must have reliable transportation within the Fayette County, Georgia area and must be able to work on-site during designated hours of operation. All safety and health protocols will be implemented as guided through state and federal health guidelines. The pay rate will be $15 per hour for up to 25 hours per week.
