Dear Providers:
Please see the remaining dates for the Initial SAFE Training and the SAFE Refreshers, which are the last opportunity for our CPA Partners to become SAFE certified at no cost in 2021. Each session is first come first serve.
SAFE Training Sessions:
- To attend the 2-day Initial SAFE Training the staff member must be in a position where they will be writing home assessments or approving SAFE assessments.
- To attend the Supervisor Day for the Initial SAFE Training, you must be providing supervisory oversight to an assessor who is completing a SAFE assessment or you must be an approver of a SAFE assessment.
Initial SAFE Training
June 2021
Session 1:
June 9 (Supervisor) – 10 am – 2 pm
Session 2:
June 14-15 (2-Day) – 9 am – 4 pm
June 16 (Supervisor) – 9 am – 1 pm
Session 3:
June 22-23 (2-Day) – 11 am – 6 pm
June 24 (Supervisor) – 11 am – 3 pm
SAFE Refresher
June 15th, 2021 (Supervisors Only) – 9 am – 4 pm
June 28th, 2021 – 9 am – 4 pm
Registration Instructions:
To register, send an email to opm.leadership@dhs.ga.gov with the following information for each staff member seeking training:
- Name
- Email Address
- Agency
- Two different dates that they are available to attend a session
- **For initial training, will they attend the 2-day or 3-day training?
Remind staff to check their spam for follow up emails that will come directly from the Consortium with confirmation of registration as well as any links for the sessions and the forms that will be needed during the sessions.
