Dear CPA Providers:

 

DFCS received guidance from the Georgia Department of Public Health regarding the inclusion of specific foster parents as those now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Foster parents of medically complex children qualify to receive the vaccine as caregivers for those children under Phase 1A+. Determinations of children who are considered medically complex should be made by your agency.

 

Please review the memorandum from DFCS Director Tom Rawlings as well as the notification to foster parents and the letter to vaccine providers.
